90 min north of Sydney A beautiful, secluded haven, surrounded by Australian bush. The accommodation is simple and rustic, heart felt and nurturing. Nature awareness - Come home to your senses, awaken your perception, find the answers, meaning and metaphor that is offered to you, moment to moment, through the mirror of nature and life. Take your questions to nature and open to the aliveness and knowing in the constant conversation unfolding around you, which exists in support of your journey. Chanting - Sharing our voices at the same time, singing heart felt songs and ancient mantras to cleanse our mind and open our hearts. An invitation into learning and knowing."~ Dr Laura Brearley Personal and Collective Ceremony - We will journey into nature to experience the personal ceremony we each seek, and we return to the collective to hone, witness, and mark change for each another, and the wider circles of which we are a part. Ceremony involves intentional action, being with the unknown, finding the meaning, our understanding and creativity. Circle work - When we come together and sit in circle we do so for ourselves and the collective. The age-old tradition of the circle allows us to attend to what's presently alive in us, to find our center and heart, to speak and listen from this place. It empowers us to inhabit where we each are in an embodied way, and be with what's deeply true. It can be one of the greatest and simplest of gifts to offer ourselves and one another. Deep Ecology - Experiencing ourselves as part of the living earth and it as part of us. A doorway into a deeper connection where life where ecology is not "out there" but something we have a role to play in, including protecting the planet. It brings up our 'deeper' questions, in relation to who we really are beyond the 'individual' mind. Living and breathing the reality that our nature and nature have never been separate, and stepping into what this awakens us to. Deep ecology work explores processes, relational exercises and deepening practices, to strengthen our encounters as nature, our gift and direction through our interconnection.
